I am not sure if it’s the “teacher” in me or what, but I HATE boring bulletin boards.
***I have an Elementary Ed degree, though I do not teach anymore. More on that later…
Anyway, they can be utilized to really add some color and decor to your office/work space without spending much money. All you need is some fabric, ribbon, scissors/box cutter, stapler, and decorative push pins (I got all the materials for less than $10— just pay attention to what fabric is on sale).
Not that you need instructions, but here is a step-by-step breakdown of how I did my board:
2. To hang the fabric, I used a stapler to make sure it was secure.
3. A razor or box cutter like this makes it easy to trim up the edges.
4. With the fabric stapled on:
4. Adding the ribbon. This where I utilize the decorative push pins. I kind of eyed the spacing between each, but you could use a measuring tape if you want to make sure they are spaced out perfectly.
5. Up close view of the pins and ribbon:
6. Finished product!
What do you decorate your office/work space with to make it feel a little more cozy?
